After founding and dedicating nearly 25-years to transforming McKinley Advisors from niche affinity marketing agency to the 40-person, global market leader that McKinley is today, Jodie Slaughter, FASAE, will retire and transition to an advisory role effective March 1, 2018. Slaughter will chair McKinley’s advisory board, entrusting the day-to-day leadership of the firm to her long-time business partner, Jay Younger, FASAE. Younger assumes the role of president and CEO effective June 1, 2017, and will be responsible for the firm’s continued growth and success.
McKinley is also pleased to announce the acquisition of association consultancy the d3 Group. d3 group founder, Jon Hockman, FASAE, a widely-recognized advisor and strategist to the association and nonprofit community, will join the firm as principal on June 1, 2017. “I’m incredibly excited to join forces with the tremendous pool of talent on the McKinley team,” said Hockman. “Together, we’re going to deliver outstanding results for our clients.” Hockman will increase the capacity of the firm’s consulting division to deliver best-in-class strategy, organizational development and facilitation services.
