As a Business Development Associate, Brian develops proposals for current and prospective clients and supports the enhancement of McKinley Advisor’s business pipeline. His prior experience as a project associate on McKinley’s consulting team gives him a unique insight into the challenges faced by associations. Becuase of this, Brian is able to leverage his experience and knowledge of associations to identify and articulate the range of services McKinley can provide to current and potential partners.
Prior to joining McKinley in 2016, Brian worked as a government contractor, implementing and managing environmental compliance initiatives for the Navy. His knowledge of and interest in environmental regulatory practices ultimately led him to DC to work for Greenpeace USA, where he utilized his knowledge and experience to help advocate for progressive, toxic chemical legislation. Through collaboration with a coalition of nonprofits and subject matter experts, Brian played a substantial role in supporting public outreach initiatives, policy analysis and membership engagement.
A Rhode Island native, Brian grew up experiencing New England the best way he knew how: spending his summers on the water and his winters skiing. When he’s not at work, Brian is usually planning his next ski trip, reading about earth sciences or seeking out great live music. Brian, a member and captain of the men’s varsity swim team, graduated from Connecticut College in 2014 with a B.A. in Environmental Studies.
