As a Senior Research Associate, Charles is responsible for designing survey instruments, examining data through various analytical methods and contributing to the creation of project deliverables by synthesizing findings from the research. Charles brings a strong attention to detail and a driving curiosity to each of his projects. In addition, he always seeks to understand the unique motivations behind every project so that the outcomes and findings are informative and actionable for his clients.
Charles’ academic and professional background includes various experiences with research and data analysis. Prior to working at McKinley, Charles worked as a Research Analyst at the Mintz Levin, Cohn Ferris, Glovsky, and Popeo PC law firm in their Employment, Labor and Benefits department where he conducted survey research in the higher education field, focusing on executive level compensation. Charles holds a bachelor’s in economics and graduated from The College of William and Mary in 2013.
In his time at McKinley Advisors, Charles has worked with a broad cross section of associations and trade organizations. His clients have covered fields ranging from healthcare to legal to higher education. Charles has also worked on a variety of project types, such as member needs studies, strategic planning engagements and communication surveys, among others.
Originally from the Philadelphia area, Charles is a Philadelphia sports fanatic. When not working at McKinley, you can find Charles going for a run around the National Mall, trying out a new restaurant he just discovered on Yelp, or testing his knowledge at trivia night.
