As a research associate, Claire supports the research team through data analysis and the development and administration of surveys. Her background in policy and data analysis, combined with her strengths in collaboration and problem-solving, makes her a great asset to the team.
Prior to joining McKinley, Claire got a glimpse into the association world through her internships at the National League of Cities and the International Downtown Association. Both opportunities allowed her to expand her understanding of association membership, as well as grow her logistical and administrative skills. In spring 2018, she spent a semester in Paris interning at an urban planning consulting agency where she contributed to a public engagement project using a digital mapping platform. Each experience has allowed her to witness the professional and social value mission-driven organizations can bring to their members and the community as a whole. This ignited her interest in playing a role in their impact through research and survey implementation.
Claire graduated from William & Mary with a double major in public policy and French. During her time in college, she volunteered as a mentor at a juvenile detention center and studied abroad in Paris. She is an avid runner and ran the Marine Corps Marathon in 2017. When she isn’t in the office or on a run, you can find her listening to a podcast or planning her next trip abroad!
