Craig Dykstra, M.S.
As a senior marketing consultant on the solutions team, Craig works closely with McKinley’s long-term outsourced clients to deliver marketing strategies and oversee implementation. Craig enjoys exploring each client’s background, challenges and perspective to build a strong partnership and achieve success. By learning their goals and challenges, Craig helps develop new tactics to ensure that each client achieves their mission.
Prior to joining McKinley, Craig worked for Purview—a software company for cloud-based medical imaging management and storage—as their sales and marketing manager, and the National Council for Behavioral Health as their digital and social media manager. With marketing experience at both a small startup and a healthcare association, Craig brings a diverse skillset that delivers comprehensive, measurable and goal-oriented marketing strategy to McKinley’s clients. In addition to his previous experiences, Craig is certified in ValueSelling, allowing him to apply his digital marketing experience with value identification and delivery.
From Poolesville, Md., Craig traveled for college to attend the University of North Carolina Wilmington where he received his B.A. in communications studies. He moved back to the area soon after, and in May 2016, completed his M.S. in marketing from the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School. In his free time, Craig enjoys cooking cast iron recipes, going for a run in the city, listening to podcasts, cinematic adventures (AKA going to the movies), reading science fiction and trying out the latest local restaurants and breweries.
