As a research associate, Gretchen supports the research team through data analysis and the development and administration of surveys. Her background in data analysis and nonprofit work, combined with her analytical skills and adaptability, makes her a great asset to the team.
Prior to joining McKinley, Gretchen interned as a business analyst for a marketing and consulting firm in the pharmaceutical industry where she regularly conducted project and data analysis. In 2017, her interest in nonprofit work lead her to Nicaragua where she was program director for Nica Nadadores, a nonprofit dedicated to creating developmental programs and educational opportunities for impoverished children in Managua. She supported a variety of projects during her time there, including developing new programs, establishing multiple organizational databases and creating more efficient ways to streamline internal processes within the organization.
Gretchen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations from the University of St. Andrews where she gained the valuable writing and analytical skills that she applies to her role on the business development team each day.
A Pennsylvania native, she is a devoted fan of Philly cheesesteaks and the Eagles. In addition to Nicaragua, she has spent time living in Scotland and is always planning her next adventure. When she’s not at work, she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, seeing live music and baking.
