As a project associate, Nicole supports the consulting team through project management and operational logistics to reach a successful partnership that results in accomplishing our shared goals and ensures clients receive the best possible experience when working with McKinley.
Prior to joining the team, Nicole worked at AECOM International Development providing logistical and administrative support for USAID-funded environment and infrastructure contracts. When studying government and politics at the University of Maryland, College Park, she served as a student consultant for Change the World Consulting where she worked alongside a nonprofit organization to develop recommendations for overcoming human capital challenges. Before graduating with her B.A., she also interned with Child Care Aware of America and the Institute for Higher Education Policy.
Through her studies and her work fulfilling operational, communications and research roles, she has gained a strong understanding of the importance of stakeholder management and the ability of interest groups to help our world thrive. Her collaborative work ethic and solutions-driven mindset make her an expert at building relationships and managing projects.
Nicole volunteers once a week tutoring local middle school and high school students in math and English. When she is not in the office or volunteering, you can find her baking, reading and preparing for the next time she can visit her favorite place — the beach!
