Who is the Next-Level Governance™: On-Demand Training for?
Designed for trade associations and professional societies, this training serves board members, board chairs, incoming directors and the CEOs and staff executives who support them. New directors use it to build a foundation, experienced directors use it to sharpen strategic and generative leadership, and CEOs use it to set shared expectations across the full board.
How long does the training take?
The full training takes 2-3 hours and is fully self-paced. Short videos pair with reflection questions that connect each concept to your own board service, so directors can complete the training around their professional schedules.
What is covered in the training?
The training includes two structured learning pathways:

Foundations of High-Performing Boards: A comprehensive introduction to governance roles and the three modes of governance.
- Leveling Up Your Governance: An in-depth program for experienced boards focused on building strategic agility, identifying disruptors and recruiting intentionally.
It also includes Strategic Leadership Lessons, a series of short, focused lessons covering change management, operating at the right altitude, strengths-based leadership and the board's role in risk oversight.
Can our whole board take this training together?
Yes. The annual subscription gives every director virtual access, and supports full-board adoption. Directors build a shared vocabulary for approaching governance, and incoming directors start from the same baseline as returning members.
