Association leader Ken Doyle, FASAE, CAE, to team with McKinley Advisors

Washington, DC – Kenneth A. (Ken) Doyle, FASAE, CAE, an association executive with more than four decades of experience leading mission-driven organizations, is partnering with McKinley Advisors as a member of the firm’s talent network, a cohort of association executives, subject matter experts and specialty service providers who share McKinley’s dedication to accelerating associations’ positive impact on the world. As Senior Counsel, Doyle will partner with the McKinley Advisors team on strategy, governance and organizational development engagements that help clients solve their greatest challenges and make impactful change in their organizations.

Doyle most recently served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA), an association that is advancing the transition to a clean energy economy. As COO, Doyle greatly expanded programs, oversaw acquisitions and streamlined all operational aspects of the organization. During his tenure, SEPA doubled its staff, increased dues income by 100%, and grew reserves by 150%.

Before joining SEPA, Doyle was the CEO of the Society of Independent Gasoline Marketers of America (SIGMA) for 33 years. He also has advised numerous clients as President of Doyle Association Consulting, LLC, a firm he and his wife co-founded in 2006.

“Ken brings a tremendous depth of experience in all aspects of association management and a proven track record of creating transformational change for an organization’s culture, member engagement, government relations and strategic direction. He leads with meaning and momentum in every project, and we are excited to partner with him in supporting associations that are driving positive change for our economy and our society,” said Jay Younger, McKinley Advisors President and CEO.

Doyle became a Fellow of the American Society of Association Executives in its third Fellows class (1988) and also is a Certified Association Executive. He served as a board member and treasurer of Solar Electric Trade Shows, LLC, and currently serves as chair of the National Association Executive Forum. Doyle is a graduate of the University of Arizona.

“McKinley Advisors provides unparalleled expertise and innovative solutions that enable associations to succeed. I am thrilled to be partnering with the industry leader in association strategy, governance and research to support the world’s leading associations as they tackle the big issues of our time,” said Doyle.
