Washington, D.C. — McKinley Advisors, an association consulting firm, has been named as one of Washington Business Journal's "Best Places to Work" in the Washington, D.C. region for the second year in a row.

To determine the nominees, Washington Business Journal, in partnership with Quantum Workplace, assessed employee satisfaction through staff surveys. The survey questions focused on company culture, leadership, employee engagement, employee benefits and more. Based on the results of the survey, 75 Greater Washington companies were selected from hundreds of companies that participated.

“Our employee experience is a point of pride for us, so I’m thrilled we have been recognized again this year as a Best Place to Work. We work hard to create a culture of trust and transparency. It is important to us that our staff always feel heard; we see this as a critical element in creating  belonging and career fulfillment at McKinley Advisors,” said Karli Susi, MBA, McKinley Advisors Chief Operating Officer.

This past year, McKinley Advisors expanded their workplace policies and benefits packages based on feedback from their staff. They used their quarterly engagement survey to inform professional development opportunities and workshops to improve their teams’ effectiveness; from training on technical skills in their day-to-day work to improving skills around delivering feedback or collaboration.

McKinley Advisors helps associations address their most complex challenges and has partnered with hundreds of mission-driven organizations to develop clear, actionable and proven strategies that enable clients to maximize their value and advance their missions.

“I’m beyond grateful to be surrounded by this talented and compassionate team that is driven by our shared purpose of providing innovative solutions that empower the success of mission-driven organizations. We are so fortunate to be able to  learn from each other, grow together and ultimately make a positive  impact on society,” said Jay Younger, McKinley Advisors President and CEO.
