As an Analyst on the Business Transformation team, Jesús R. Aviña, identifies research trends, develops business insights and helps associations optimize their strategies. Motivated by the human stories hidden in financial and non-financial data, Jesús is passionate about solving business problems with a balanced and human approach.
Prior to joining the McKinley team, he served as a Lead Analyst for a law firm specializing in real estate taxation where he managed the firm's financial analysis programs. In this capacity he developed valuation models and created new analytical strategies. Over the years he has focused on increasing accessibility in the workplace, from creating programs to serve Spanish speaking business owners to developing programs specifically for family-owned businesses. Jesús received an undergraduate degree from Shimer College, where he studied a unique multi-disciplinary program in Philosophy, Economics and Social Science.
When he is not at work, he is spending as much time as he can outdoors camping and eating his way around the world! His favorite spot to vacation is Sleeping Bear Dunes, Michigan and the Mojave.
