George Miller, M.S., CAE
As a senior consultant located in the Chicago office, George plays an essential role in managing McKinley’s multifaceted projects. His coordination with clients and team members positively shapes the client experience and ensures project objectives are achieved and inspire exceptional results. His work ranges from supporting strategic planning and governance initiatives, to leading research, membership and communications projects.
George joined McKinley with 20 years of experience working in the association and higher education industries. Much of his background has focused on continuing education product portfolios and overseeing technical training. These roles have been shaped by his passion for watching others grow and succeed through transformational leadership and developmental experiences.
George is a Certified Association Executive and longtime volunteer with Association Forum where he has facilitated implicit bias training and served on multiple committees. With this background, George brings important insights and strong leadership skills to McKinley and our clients.
George has a master’s degree in higher education from Florida State University and a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Evansville. He is an avid open water swimmer, competing in several swims both at home and abroad — from a marathon swim in Barbados to several local 5Ks on Lake Michigan and beyond! Together he and his husband, Jerry, are longtime antique collectors who have grown their side project of finding and selling vintage treasures out of their home to making regular appearances at flea markets and antique stores in the Chicago area.
