As the primary organization devoted to the development of nurse leaders, the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE) has embarked on several initiatives to help its members advance in their careers and achieve their desired level of job satisfaction. In 2012 AONE members expressed an interest in learning more about the salaries of various positions within nursing leadership. To meet this need, AONE developed a survey and the following report for its members and the nursing leadership field.
AONE retained McKinley to conduct the salary survey and analyze the results on its behalf. The collection of data and presentation in the resulting report follows the safety zone requirements described in the Statement of Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission Enforcement Policy on provider participation in exchanges of price and cost information.
